beside that creativeness and quizz-madness I'm still angry about that stupid stuff I saw today and had to pay 16 Euro (about 17 US Dollar)for. I'm a fan of "radio plays"...at least the dictionary tells me that it is the only engl. term hmm that is odd ...do you have "audio only" plays only on the radio? Well we have a lot audio plays here in germany for kids, youth, adults whatever. And I love horror, crime and thriller stuff. There are some absolute cult trash plays and there was a live "radio play" of a cult series on tour last summer but I missed it (The three investigators...its originally from the US I think). Another series is now on tour and I thought (and my friends thought)that it would be like the one last year. The actors live on stage with live sound effects and music. But no - it was just a slide-show...they had some light-effects, showed slides and played the cd!!! 16 Euro for that shit is ursury!!! So a warning for Germans out there:...Wer auch immer da draußen gedenkt sich die "'Europa' on Tour - Larry Brent Live" anzusehen...vergesst es!!! Nur eine multimedia Dia-Show mit etwas Lichteffekten. 16 Euro sind absolute Abzocke dafür!
Dummerweise habe ich nicht vorher im Internet anachgesehen sondern meinen Hörspielerfahrenen Freunden vertraut schon zu wissen worum es da geht.
Wer aber sowas toll findet kann sich das natürlich gerne ansehen...halt Diashow zum Hörspiel...ich fand die Dias zudem nicht sehr orginell

We don't get plays on the radio. How would you pay for them? 16 Euro! That's a lot of money. How long do they go for?

We have plays on the radio...it's like a theatrical play . Some are written as plays others are more books read by different people (for the different characters). Most of them are not on the radio but published on cd. on the tour last year they had the voice-actors on stage of the theater and someone who made the sounds in an old fashioned way like they did for the movies decades ago (coconuts for horse sounds, bells for dorrbells, all kinds of stuff for lots of sounds). and you could buy cards for that theater and watch it. This time they only showed that slide-show and had the cd playing. I can listen to the cd at home...I don#t need to sit in a theater for that. Well, I'm careful the next time and will take a look at audiobook-fan webpages and chats.
