Noch immer wird der Salzstock auf seine Eignung als Endlager für hochradioaktiven Atommüll erkundet. Und zwar nur dieser Salzstock. Andere Orte in Deutschland werden gar nicht mehr in Betracht gezogen - trotz massiver Proteste im Wendland.

First thing I thought after waking up today: I woke up
Second thought: I'm still here
Looking out of the window: city still there
Switching on the internet: Geneva still there
Hmm, but if we slipped into a parallel universe, another quantum reality ... would we have felt it? ^_^
Next thing done today: getting the Torchwood radio play free and legally from the BBC website. *bounce* Haven't listened to it yet though. Is that the Torchwood audio play that was announced months ago, or was this just a CERN LHC-day special?
So, this means waiting for 2012 then? The date they Maya prophesied to be the end of the world ... at last it will bring us another disaster movie by Roland Emmerich next year ^_^

Jun. 27th, 2008 08:20 pmauf 3sat läuft gerade eine Doku über Tunguska (Meteoriteneinschlag vor fast genau 100 Jahren)
Arte shows one of my favorite "Horizon" (BBC) episodes at 22.25 h about Globald Dimming re-titled "Eine Zukunft im Schatten / Dans l'ombre du ciel" tomorrow.
Oh, and I see that I have to tape Karambolage today :-) it's explaining the "Oktoberfest" to the French *grins* I missed several episodes and I won't be home again this evening (meeting with a friend to seize this last days of summer on her balcony). Maybe I'll also tape some emissions of the Kung-Fu Theme evening.

So langsam schiebt sich der Schatten vor den Mond, sofern man mal durch die Wolken einen Blick erhaschen kann. Bilder aus Bochum könnt ihr auch hier finden im WDR MoFi-Blog: http://wdrblog.de/teleskop/
EDIT: *grummel* jetzt hat sich die Wolkendecke total zugezogen, ich hoffe um Mitternacht sieht man ein bisserl was vom roten Mond
NACHTRAG: die Wolken sind doch letztendlich aufgerissen und der rote (eher braunrote) Mond war zu sehen und wie er dann langsam wieder heller wurde. Und wie hell! Die erste ganz dünne Sichel war gegen den Rest gleißend hell :-)
Ich muß jetzt auch mal mein Minifernglas von Tschibo loben :-) Irgendwann hatte ich dann aber Nackenstarre und der Mond ist eh mittlerweile hinterm Dach verschwunden.
