diekahviJust watched the first episode of "Journeyman" (cause I like time travel stories and Kevin McKidd - who's charismatic and scottish and ... well somehow hot although he's blond ^_^ and a good actor btw) and the new epsiode of "Smallville"

stabbim I somehow don't like that plot element of the time travelling ex-fiancee who's presumed dead for years. That is very "Primeval" and a bit "The Dead Zone". If there had to be another time traveller whom he knows, why not a former school buddy, workmate or brother (ok, the brother would have been too much "Gabriel Burns" for me)?
The rest of the episode was good - surprisingly good. I love the opening credits and I liked the storytelling, editing and paceing. How he dealt with his sudden new abbilty was well written. It seems to be a modern version of "Quantum leap" with the main character jumping back and forth in a specific persons life. The only thing I'm missing is a sort of sidekick who helps him with information during his jumps. Someone who knows his special "gift" in most of the times - and I don't think that the fiancee qualifies for that. She seems to be the one who already knows more about the big WHY and therefore is the candidate for sometimes trespassing him and dropping some clues about the big backstory from time to time. But apart from that I'm looking forward to the next episode.
Oh, and I hope I won't "slide" when I have my next migrane LOL Timetraveling via headaches. ... and I can't stop thinking about a Journeyman/Rome x-over fic ... d'oh *snicker*
Who the fuck casted this ... this ... blonde as Kara aka Supergirl??? YUCK!!! I bet she had a lot of face surgery ... *shudder*. And who's writing the scripts??? Gods, that series must hit some bizarre and small masochistic part in me ... I can't explain why I keep watching. But hey, Lex was good in those two epsiodes :-) Liked that story! And I soooo hoped that Lana would be dead *sigh*!!! Please bring back Green Arrow - FAST!!! He was really cool!
I think I will watch the new Bionic Woman 1.01 tomorrow morning ... has anyone seen it yet? Your opinions? (Spoilers are no problem)
