I read that book last year, and a friend of mine found this vids on youtube with some parts of the lectures the author performed at a convention.

I also like him commenting on Electros ridicolus costume and the pedestrians "the nostalgia for a buygone era when pedestrians used to routinley narrate events occuring in front of them".
Or that dialog from The Atom "We are smaller than oxygen-atoms, how are we breathing?" LOL. In the book he also explains that when shrunken to the size of a golfball The Atom shouldn't be able to hear and see properly because of the wavelenghts of light and sound.
