I'm a bit late for checking the programm of this years litcologne. Does anybody already have plans/tickets?

I would be interested in seeing Val McDermid (13.3), Åse Larsson & Nina Petri or Kulturwunder Ruhrgebiet on 15.3., Orkanfahrt (17.3.) and Christine Westermann & Jörg Thadeusz (19.3.).

Schadenfreude

I hope I don't have any Love Parade fans on my flist but ... wahahaha *ROFL*. It was just on the news. This years Love Parade was supposed to take place in Bochum (were I've been living form more than a decade) - but it was just cancelled. 6 months before the date. Reason: the main train station is too small. Well, it's been that size forever. A bit late to realize that. On the one hand it's sad for hotels, clubs and gastronomy - but on the other hand I can only laugh about this because I found the idea of the LP taking place in various Ruhrarea citys very silly.
And they don't move it elsewhere, they cancell it completly. WTF?! THAT is going to be great for the next ones. Who knows if the next one won't be cancelled such a short time ahead, too?

I was in the mood for some vids and got lost on youtube.

All kinds of awesome this vid. Unfortunately you have to understand German and know both series (Stargate Atlantis and Karl Mays novels or the films) to fully appreaciate it.

Well I started to look for Doctor/Romana vids and found a few and other clips related to them. I think I'm alone on my flist shipping the two but here are the vids anyway. Get ready for Ten, Four, Nine, Romana I, Romana II and Donna ... oh and Duggan ^_^

The SGA vids are technically a lot better. Partly because of the way better material (much DW isn't available on DVD and its a lot older) and I guess the DW fandoms has ... well not so many good vidders. Although I bet there are some well done Ten/Rose vids ... but that s not really my thing.
