my brain is no computer

Slowly the lightbulb above my head is starting to gleam. It's not fully lit and I don't think I will get a full grasp of programming Visual Basic ever. But it's not all Chinese to me anymore. I still lack the basic understanding of programming itself(the "vocabulary the teacher uses, grammar of programming language, thinking through a process). I guess you must be born for this way of thinking - like you have to be born for calculating structural statics ^_^
But our teacher is good, he takes much time to answer all our stupid questions - and you can hear that he's from Hamburg :-)

My sleeping rhythm has totally gone wacko this week. Monday night I was tired but couldn't fall asleep and the last two days I fell asleep on my sofa for 2 hours so I wasn't tired at my usual bedtime afterwards. I'm running on coffeine only now :-/

Since I don't have much time anymore I ditched some series. I skipped Criminal Minds, the second season started to bore me. I just don't get what's so intresting about Supernatural , I totally stopped watching any CSI and I'm still 2 seasons behind on The 4400 but maybe the writers strike will give me time to watch season 3 and 4.
I've got a new guilty pleasure Moonlight :-) The first episode was like watching a car crash - so horrible that you can't look away. And the beginning - OMG that was soooo dime novel - style. It reminded me of the John Sinclair intro LOL. After two more episodes the style still reminds me a lot of Jason Darks writing, it's pulp but good pulp. And I have to say, after so many years, THIS is how they should have done Kindred:The Embraced! I like how they handle the "vampire society". But there is still one thing I can't forgive: why oh why did they have to choose a redemtion seeking vampire AGAIN!!!???!!! This literary sucks!!! Angel was already one too many IMO.
