I spent the last week with my "movie-buddy" sashatwen at the Fantasy Filmfest in Cologne. I'm going to write some reviews over the weekend in English here on LJ since I mostly wrote about the films we saw (nearly a dozend) in German on FB.
For starters I browsed the net for some memorable short films we saw at the FFF over the years.

There's a cool breeze coming in, lovely. And the forecast says that I'll get the summer weather back that I enjoyed so much in the last weeks. Mix of sun, clouds and rain and temperatures around 25°C. YAY. The heat of the last days made me sick. I already had blood pressure problems on sunday and then had to spent yesterday in bed with loads of painkillers. I envy people who can enjoy temperatures above 30

I log in to Gallifrey Base after some time and the first thing I read is that Mary Tamm died on 25th of July. I didn't even knew she was ill. She played one of my all time favorite Doctor Who companions Romana.

didn't have to cut away that much, yay

I'm watching the latest BBC production of "Richard II". It's an interesting experience. Not only because of fine actors* and pretty costumes&cinematography but mainy because I know absolutly nothing about that king. I never read/saw the play or read anything about him :-) I honestly don't know where the story is going.
