was soll man dazu noch sagen?

Blasphemie! Und dann vertreiben die auch noch Yogie-Tee. Yoga, das ist doch heidnischer Aberglaube! Sofort die Inquisition einschalten!

WTF!!??

OMG!!! What did they do to "The dark is rising"??? The film looks like only being loosly based on the novel with loads of "cool powers and effects" added. Bhuuuuuhuhu *wine**snif* Trailer for "The dark is rising" And why is it called "The seeker"??? The book is called "The dark is rising", nothing more...

Sorry, this is one of my all time favorite book series. I read it the first time when I was 14, and it had a big impact on me. I read the full series some years later - also good novels but "the dark..." is the best of the quadrology.
I didn't expect them being able to f**** up this movie, I expected "The Golden Compass" to be the one straying too much from the book. But it turns out to be the other way round.

The book is called "Wintersonnenwende" in German. It was written in the 70s and you can feel that when reading it. Maybe that's also a reason why the film 'feels so wrong' to me. Totaly different atmosphere!!!
